Refreshments

There are refreshment points along the route where you can stop and replenish your supplies with water, iso-drinks, fruit and carbohydrate-rich snacks. This service is also available before the start (limited) and directly after the finish.

Water and fruit are available in the start area.

Refreshments on the course

On the course, after approx. 30 km, you will reach a refreshment point at Königin-Luise-Straße / Arnimallee where you'll receive: Water (cups, fill bottles), Iso Drink from Dextro Energy, fruit and if necessary Liquid Gel from Dextro Energy.

Finish area

Dextro Energy iso drink, Dextro Energy liquid gel or bar, fruit, tea if necessary and ERDINGER non-alcoholic beer

Time keeping


Your time will be measured with a mika:timing transponder system. The timing is included in your entry fee. You will receive your transponder together with your race number. 

At VeloCity Berlin 2022 disposable transponders will be used. Therefore, there is no need to return a transponder. 

Medal engraving

Medal engraving with your best time at the VeloCity Berlin premiere!

Within the registration you can purchase the medal engraving and have your finish time engraved at VeloCity Berlin after your finish.

Schedule and course subject to change! Start in all weathers, as long as there is no weather warning from the German Weather Service.

Wwithdrawal and exchange

Withdrawal
Due to the logistical and organisational complexity of the event, we cannot refund the participation fee if you are unable to attend. Thank you for your understanding.

 

Exchange
Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer your starting place to another person or another year. Your starting place is event- and person-bound.

You will find detailed information on withdrawal and exchange in our Conditions of participation.

Insurance

The starting place insurance is handled by ERGO Reiseversicherung-AG. This is an insurance policy without a deductible to cover the participation fee for the event.


What is insured?

You are insured if you are unable to participate in the event due to one of the following insured events:

  • unexpected serious illness
  • serious accidental injury
  • death

⇒ Conditions

The sum insured corresponds to the insured participation fee. If an insured event occurs, the participation fee will be reimbursed.

What is not insured?

The postponement or cancellation of the event. Further information can be found in the registration form.

Emergency contacts

At many of our events, we and various institutions (police, fire brigade, etc.) often receive search requests for the whereabouts of missing participants.

In order for us to be able to process these quickly and in accordance with data protection regulations, we ask you to enter 1 or 2 contact persons in the registration form. 

In the event of an enquiry, we can only provide your contact persons with information on whether you are receiving medical care or are in hospital.


The following data is relevant: 
Name, first name, date of birth and telephone number of the contact person.

The specification of an emergency contact is voluntary and can be entered or corrected in your user account at any time.
