Last year, "Berlin's fastest kilometer" was integrated into the GENERALI VeloCity Berlin program to great acclaim. Over 1,000 meters on the Straße des 17. Juni, all cyclists who like to accumulate lactate compete - and the cycling celebrities are not missing.

COURSE:
1000 m

REGISTRATION PERIOD:
November 9th, 2023 - July 11th, 2024 (as long as the participation limit has not been reached)

PARTICIPATION FEE:
20 €

ELIGIBILITY:
Minimum age: 16 years

PARTICIPATION LIMIT:
120 participants

This is how it works:

Round 1 = all competitors will be sent out at a distance of 1000m
Round 2 = the fastest riders from Round 1 are fighting in battles (men and women race separately)
Round 3 = the winners of the battles from round 2 fighting for the victory
Round 4 = the winner of round 3 gets to ride a 1000m "lap of honour" with cycling legend Jens Voigt
