Berlin's fastest kilometer
For those who prefer to compete in a shorter unit at the highest speed, there is the "Berlin's fastest kilometer" contest. It pays to be quick with the registration, because the race entries are limited.
In Round 1 of this side event, all the 'sprinters' will be sent out on the track in pursuit of the best time. In round 2, the fastest men and women will compete directly to decide who will go on to round 3.
In Round 3, the winners of Round 2 will compete.
